The Maine Farmhouse Collection takes different species of wood--harvested sustainably from culled or storm-damaged trees--and highlights the gifts of imperfection or the amazing character of a certain species's grain.
This board is 12" long, 8" wide, and approximately 3/4" deep. Ebonized oak is caused by a chemical reaction between tannins in the wood and the application of a tea and iron tincture.
